Exploring Matter Learning Center - Early Childhood

Using fun learning activities help students understand all about matter!

Students will learn and identify various types of matter and its properties such as size, color, shape, weight among others.

This colorful, easy-to-use learning center game, combined with flash card matching activities are perfect for practicing essential early childhood science skills. Designed for either teacher directed or independent student playing in groups of 2-4, each learning center focuses on different developmentally appropriate science skills making them perfect for differentiated instruction.

Each learning center includes a hands-on board game with 30 illustrated self-checking game cards, as well as corresponding 2 sets of 30 matching flash cards printed on a 4” x 5 ½” heavy stock, and a teacher guide with simple step-by-step directions and additional suggested skill building activities.

The matching flash cards engage students in skill building activities while the games help students develop a lasting understanding of the concepts. These learning centers are ready-to-go, allowing students of varying abilities to work independently or cooperatively — students can use them in the classroom, after-school programs, or even at home for test preparation or practice and review! 

Enough materials are provided for up to 4 students and are a snap to set up and store in the pouch provided for years of use!
